Studio Pixel (Welsh for Pixel) is the only photography studio in Newport to hire with Cyclorama Wall / Infinity Curve. We also offer studio lighting and post-processing workshops in Lightroom and Photoshop with a highly experienced tutor.

I've lost track of the number of times I've tripped over stands or trailing power cables, so I decided to invest in a ceiling mounted pantograph system. This allows photographers to have a clear floor with no tripping hazards, while having the flexibility to move the lights on the ceiling in 3 directions (up/down, left/right, forward/back).

I'm Rhys Webber, owner and manager of Pixel studios. I left Newport to study for my photography degree in London and have been a commercial photographer ever since. For the past 20 years I have run Webber Photo — my commercial photography business, and Webber Design, a full service graphic design company.
After being cooped up in my home studio for the past 15 years, I have finally invested in a studio worthy of my passion for photography. I will use Pixel studio for my commercial and personal work, but also to enjoy my other passion - teaching. I started teaching at 23, loved it, and have been doing it ever since.
Studio Lighting Workshops
As well as being a commercial photographer for many years, I have also been teaching studio photography and post-processing in Photoshop and Lightroom.
At Pixel Studio I will be offering 1-1 and small group studio lighting workshops to help you get to grips with studio lighting and learn how to take control of your lighting to get stunning photographs.
Lightroom and Photoshop Workshops
When I started my photography career, I learned traditional darkroom techniques, but as soon as digital photography arrived I launched myself into it. I got my hands on the first version of Photoshop and soon I was teaching Photoshop at several colleges and training centers in London to high profile clients.
